With the continuous advancement of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, cooperation between China and Africa has deepened. A series of major projects have progressed smoothly and yielded fruitful results across multiple fields.

Today, from the East African plateau to the West African coast, from landlocked nations of the Sahara Desert to island countries in Southern Africa, Chinese-aided railways, ports, conference centers, stadiums, and libraries bear the mark of China’s involvement. China has not only provided substantial human and material resources but has also introduced Chinese-style urbanization models and economic frameworks to Africa. Undoubtedly, the presence of "Made in China" is reshaping the development landscape and lifestyles across African nations.

Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, is a beautiful coastal city bordering the Indian Ocean. The city is home to the University of Dar es Salaam, a renowned institution in East Africa. The current Chinese government aid project focuses on constructing a library and a Confucius Institute at the university. This initiative is just one small example among thousands of such projects.

The library and Confucius Institute are aligned north-south and include reading rooms, book storage areas, study halls, teaching research offices, electronic reading rooms, and a multimedia lecture hall. The project was entirely built according to Chinese standards, from technical construction specifications to the internal organization of the library and Confucius Institute, fully reflecting a "Chinese approach."

The meticulously designed library and Confucius Institute have become new landmarks for the University of Dar es Salaam, while CREATOR has contributed its technological expertise to enhance the university’s facilities, adding brilliance to the "Made in China" initiative. For this project, CREATOR equipped the multimedia lecture hall with a simultaneous interpretation system to meet the needs of seminars, lectures, training sessions, academic exchanges, and multilingual interpretation.

The lecture hall is equipped with a 690-seat infrared simultaneous interpretation system, enabling real-time multilingual translation. Interpreters in the translation booths listen to the speaker’s continuous dialogue through headphones while simultaneously providing accurate and complete translations into the target language using the CR-DIG5203E3 interpretation units.

Four high-performance infrared radiation panels (model CR-IR3001) were installed to suit the venue’s characteristics. These panels feature a curved design with wide-angle coverage, ensuring 360° signal transmission without dead zones by emitting carrier signals received from the infrared main unit. Students and teachers use 8-channel infrared receivers (model CR-IR3002A-8) and headphones to select their desired language channel for high-quality audio output.

For centralized control, CREATOR provided a central control system, enabling integrated and user-friendly management of all devices. Even non-technical personnel can easily handle signal mode switching in the venue.

For signal management, CREATOR deployed two PRO matrix switchers, one AV matrix switcher, and one RGB matrix switcher to comprehensively manage audio and video signals, ensuring lossless transmission.

As the Belt and Road Initiative continues to advance, academic, cultural, and economic exchanges among nations are becoming increasingly frequent. CREATOR’s infrared simultaneous interpretation system effectively bridges language barriers, making it the optimal choice for international academic exchanges, scientific seminars, and technical conferences due to its mature performance, stability, and exceptional functionality.
