About Us
Two thousand years ago, Chinese envoy Zhang Qian pioneered the Western Regions, opening the Silk Road that spanned Europe, Asia, and Africa, connecting ancient China to the world for the first time. Today, this historical exchange has evolved into comprehensive cooperation and shared development under the Belt and Road Initiative. Over the past six years, China and Africa have highly aligned in their commitment to Belt and Road cooperation, actively advancing progress across various fields. This initiative has not only become a bond for China-Africa collaboration but also propelled both sides toward shared century-long missions and common dreams.
The Gambia International Conference Center project commenced on August 30, 2017, and was completed on October 15, 2019, passing the acceptance inspection by China’s Ministry of Commerce in late November. Located in Banjul, the capital of The Gambia, the center covers a total construction area of approximately 14,000 square meters. Its main functional spaces include a 1,000-seat main conference hall with lounges, four 200-seat thematic meeting rooms, 14 bilateral meeting rooms, a banquet hall, a VIP banquet hall, and four press conference rooms.
We supplied The Gambia International Conference Center with 1,500 infrared receivers, 1,500 bilateral headphones, over 200 sets of DIG series digital conference systems and wireless WiFi systems, 19 sets of visual interactive multimedia control systems, and five large hybrid matrix switchers. This comprehensive setup meets the requirements of various functional meeting spaces, fully establishing a modern, information-based international conference center.
Twenty-four infrared radiation panels, paired with 1,500 infrared receiver units, 1,500 bilateral headphones, and DIG series digital interpretation units, are installed across different functional meeting rooms. This configuration creates a large-scale infrared simultaneous interpretation system capable of wireless transmission and reception in any type of venue.
To manage signal switching and unified control across multiple meeting rooms, five PRO series hybrid matrix switchers were deployed, effectively managing and switching all audio signals within the conference center.
For centralized control, a visual interactive multimedia control system centered around 19 multimedia control hosts was implemented in the main conference hall, bilateral meeting rooms, thematic meeting rooms, and press conference rooms. This system integrates central control, matrix signal switching, recording, and broadcasting into one cohesive platform.
Furthermore, the visual interactive multimedia control system can broadcast audio and video signals over the network, enabling interconnectivity among all meeting rooms within the local area network. Dispersed meeting rooms are linked, and the central control room can monitor the status of each room while managing equipment signals uniformly. This achieves seamless local control and switching of signals, cross-room signal routing, and centralized management of multiple meeting rooms—truly realizing intelligent, worry-free centralized control with a single system.
To ensure uninterrupted meetings even in the unlikely event of system failure, the conference console is equipped with dual hot-backup functionality. If either main unit fails, the system continues to operate normally, preventing any disruption to meetings.
