China-ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Forum

From September 16th to 18th, the "2015 China-ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Forum" was held in Nanning, Guangxi. This year's forum consisted of three parts: the Dialogue on Environmental Sustainable Development, the China-ASEAN Roundtable Meeting on Environmental Protection Industry Cooperation and Development, and the Exhibition of China's Environmental Protection Industries and Technologies. Over 200 participants attended, including senior officials from ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat, representatives from international organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme and the Asian Development Bank, as well as officials from China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, environmental departments and relevant agencies from various provinces and regions, scholars, and business representatives. The forum utilized the CREATOR infrared simultaneous interpretation system, which excellently achieved real-time bilingual translation between Chinese and English, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted policy dialogue and exchange activities among ASEAN countries.

The advancement of technology is accelerating global integration. The increasing frequency of international academic seminars, political and economic conferences, and cultural exchanges places higher demands on simultaneous interpretation technology. The CREATOR simultaneous interpretation system employs the 16-channel digital infrared transmitter host CR-IR3000A as the core of the digital infrared language distribution system. Interpreters in the booth listen to the speaker's continuous speech through headphones while simultaneously providing accurate and complete translations into the target language using the CR-DIG5203E3 interpretation units. To ensure every guest receives high-quality audio output regardless of their location, CREATOR strategically installed six high-performance infrared radiation panels (model CR-IR3001) based on the venue's layout. These panels feature a curved design for wide-angle coverage, transmitting the carrier signal received from the infrared host via infrared light.

All participants at the forum were provided with 8-channel infrared receiver units (model CR-IR3002A-8) and infrared headphones (model CR-P2). By selecting the corresponding channel, they could listen to the interpretation in their desired language.
