Opening Ceremony of the Inaugural Asia-Europe Expo

Vice Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying and UNCTAD Secretary-General Supachai Panitchpakdi attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. After multiple rounds of evaluation and comparison by the organizers, designers, and construction teams, the main venue of the inaugural 2011 China-Eurasia Expo fully adopted CREATOR products, including digital infrared language distribution systems, central control systems, and matrix switching systems. These were deployed in the UN Trade and Development Conference main venue, the on-site command center, the joint command center, the leadership decision-making room, and the analysis and assessment room. This marked another high-level event where CREATOR provided quality products and services, following its prior support for the 2nd UN Trade and Development Conference and the 9th African Union Summit. To ensure the smooth operation of the expo, CREATOR dispatched senior technicians to Xinjiang to guide the installation and provide on-site support.

For the UN Trade and Development Conference, CREATOR provided a 1,200-seat digital infrared language distribution system to ensure all attendees could clearly hear the proceedings. The system included four M4103E3 interpretation units, offering simultaneous interpretation in eight languages, with two interpreters assigned per language for relay translation. To support multilingual listening for delegates and journalists, ten infrared radiation panels were strategically installed around the venue based on its layout, ensuring comprehensive coverage of multi-channel infrared audio signals across all areas. Given the confidential nature of some sessions, CREATOR's proprietary DQPSK digital demodulation technology effectively prevented signal leakage outside the venue while maintaining flawless audio transmission, fully leveraging the advantages of digital infrared language distribution.

The main venue utilized CREATOR's digital infrared language distribution system.
To ensure the successful and secure operation of the inaugural expo under the principle of "safety first, zero errors," the Xinjiang Public Security Department established four security command rooms: the on-site command center, joint command center, leadership decision-making room, and analysis and assessment room. CREATOR technicians customized the systems for these rooms, equipping each with a large splicing screen and a corresponding ST-7600C wireless color-in-picture touchscreen. All four rooms shared one PGMII central control host and an AV12896 audio-video matrix. Each touchscreen could control the screens' power, combination modes, and real-time monitoring of venue footage, external traffic command feeds, and remote conference images.
