The professional digital CAT5 signal transmission switching system solutions provider, CREATOR, announced its membership in The HDBaseT Alliance (http://www.HDBaseT.org/), to become a contributors Member. CREATOR will use its professional capacity in the field of audio and video solutions to promote the alliance to enhance professional technical and other standards in audio and video fields.

As a Cross-industry alliance, HDBaseT Alliance was co-founded in June 2010 by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Valens Semiconductor Company. It aims at HDBaseT technology's promotion and standardization. It tries to use ordinary CAT5 Ethernet cable to provide uncompressed full HD multimedia content delivery and Internet connectivity, as well as the corresponding control and power supply. The transmission distance is up to 100 meters (328 feet). Besides, HDBaseT has the cable-powered (power over cable) characteristic. Using a single Ethernet cable as the power transmission medium, no additional power supply, it can provide 100W power for equipment.
